In 2015, total of 15 students from UCSJ and University of Kristianstad have participated in internships with local food producers in Denmark and Sweden.
The main part of the internships included the development and implementation of a relevant, for a local food producer, marketing project that was based on a field research by the students. Such student-driven projects allowed students to learn a lot about the business situation for the host food producer.
In its turn, the local food producers gained new knowledge and valuable input in those areas where they did not have sufficient resources themselves.
Based on the experiences from their internships, the students produced reports and subsequently presented them in their home institutions.
