REGFOOD supports European campaign: “Love your local market” in Rostock
In May 2015 Europe celebrates its market culture for the third time. From 13.05. – 27.05.2015 about 900 events were held on markets around Europe. From 21.05. – 22.05.2015 Rostock participated for the first time, also. The two days of action took place at the Rostock Neuen Markt – in the Idea of “A market to touch”. For this purpose, in addition to the familiar local retailers for the first time more players in local and regional food in the region of Rostock got the chance to present their products and interests. The REGFOOD project is committed to improving the marketing of local and regional foods in the South Baltic Region and therefore supported the local action with the printing of campaign-bags. Inga Knospe (Chief Executive- Grossmarkt Rostock GmbH) thanked Prof. Dr. Andreas Diettrich (Department of Economic and founding education) for the support by the project.
