Following the Kick off meeting the partners initiated collection of data on currents trends in the food industries in each of the partner countries.
This resulted in the production of four national reports, which describe past and current trends as well as characteristics of the local and regional food production.
During this summer of 2013 the expert group has analyzed the national reports. Specifically the group conducted internal and external analyses of the local and regional food production which constitutes a segment of the food industry in each of the countries.
In addition, a comprehensive analytical report was produced assessing challenges and opportunities for the production of local and regional food in the South Baltic region.
